🍕✨ Hector Gramado Pizzeria: inclusive review (sensory + accessibility) — visit on 09/02/2026

THE Hector Gramado Pizzeria It's a well-known themed experience in the city that usually attracts many families looking for something more than just dinner. For autistic people and families with disabilities, predictable, organized experiences with controlled stimuli make all the difference — and that's precisely why we decided to evaluate the pizzeria from the perspective of accessibility and sensory experience.

How was our visit? we went 09/02/2026 using the Prime Gourmet 🎟️.

📌 30-second summary:

  • ⭐ Highlight: Organization (reservation + confirmation via WhatsApp).
  • 🧠 Sensory: Loud sound 🔊 + lights and staging 💡🎭.
  • ♿ Physical accessibility: There are stairs, but no elevator.
  • 🧩 Inclusive resources: We didn't see any audio description or earplugs.
  • 👧 Kids' area: large and with a monitor.

🪄 How the experience works

Since we had a reservation, upon arrival we were greeted with a personalized letter 📜, in the style of Hogwarts letters, containing our name and table number, as if we were being officially invited to enter the school.

In the first part of the experience, we are directed to a room where we hear a bit about Hector's story and the school, as well as meet his teachers. This greatly helps with the predictability of the experience and makes the beginning smoother, especially for children who need time to adapt to the environment.

🧙‍♂️ Themed Service

One of the unique aspects of the experience is that the service is completely themed. The waiters are dressed as elves 🧝‍♂️ and the students wear school uniforms in different colors, reinforcing the magical atmosphere.

During the experience, visitors are referred to as apprentices, which helps create a more playful and participatory environment. Even the pizzas are called... "flavor discs", maintaining consistency with the school's narrative.

🐉 Interaction with Hector

Hector (the Wizard Dragon) is extremely friendly and spends a considerable amount of time interacting with the children.

He takes photos 📸, chats, and participates in the experience throughout dinner, unlike other themed places we've visited where the character only appears once.

🍹 Themed drinks

Another positive aspect is the themed drinks 🧪, which are like real magic potions, with a non-alcoholic option as well.

🧠 Sensory environment

During the experience, the attendants perform tricks and skits 🎭🪄.

However, it's important to note that the sound is loud 🔊 and there's a light show 💡. This may be uncomfortable for people with heightened sensory sensitivity.

⚠️ If you are sensitive to sounds or lights, consider choosing quieter times or bringing self-regulating items such as earplugs 🎧.

♿ Accessibility

In the confirmation message, they inform you that the place has stairs and no elevator, but there are tables on the first floor.

👧 Kids' Area

The pizzeria has a very large kids' area with a monitor, which helps families with children during their experience.

🧩 What we miss

  • Audio description
  • Tactile menu
  • Mufflers
  • Sunflower garland 🌻

The menu is already digital on tablets 📱, which could make it easier to include audio description in the future.

💡 Inclusive suggestions

  • Space with fewer sensory stimuli 🔇
  • Discount for a companion with a disability 🤝
  • More food options for food intolerances 🍽️
  • Audio description on the digital menu 🎧

⭐ Conclusion

It was a magical experience ✨ and very well organized. However, we recommend prior planning for families with greater sensory sensitivity.
