Partnership with AMA Novo Hamburgo 🤝

We are very proud to announce our partnership with AMA Novo Hamburgo (Association of Parents and Friends of Autistic People of Novo Hamburgo – RS). This partnership strengthens the purpose of Autistics Around the World: promote more inclusive and accessible tourism for autistic people and their families.

About AMA Novo Hamburgo

The Novo Hamburgo Association of Parents and Friends of Autistic People (AMA-NH) was founded on February 18, 2017. The initiative came from a group of mothers who, when facing challenges in caring for their children, decided to come together.

Since then, AMA-NH has been led by a volunteer board composed exclusively of parents of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In other words, each action is guided by their firsthand experience with autism.

Over the years, the association has provided support, guidance, and ongoing support. It also offers free therapies and projects to its members.

It also provides various services to the community. As a result, it has contributed significantly to the development of people with ASD.

AMA-NH is a member of the Rio Grande do Sul Pro-Autism Network and participates in the Municipal Councils. Furthermore, it is eligible to receive funding from Funcriança and other public funds, always applied transparently.

AMA NH Mission

• Provide people with autism with a dignified life, with work, health, leisure and integration into society;
• Offer support to the family of the person with autism;
• Provide tools for coexistence at home and in society;
• Promote and encourage research on autism;
• Disseminate accumulated knowledge about the disorder.
